Our Store
Companies to Classrooms Duluth (C2C) is dedicated to supporting students and teachers by providing classroom supplies free of charge. We do this through the operation of a “free-store” stocked with new and gently-used items donated by local businesses, organizations and individuals.
Shop with us
C2C is open two afternoons each week (and the second Saturday of each month September-May), giving licensed teachers an opportunity to pick up supplies at no cost to them or the school.
With a school ID, teachers can come once a month and shop for up to 15 items. If a teacher does not have an I.D. yet or a note from their principal, they can:
-
Use their phone to show their name/directory profile on their school website
-
Present a pay stub with their school identified as their place of employment
-
Shop one time only, but teachers must bring a note from their principal the next they they shop.
Teachers, please sign up for an appointment time to shop at the C2C store. Please note that this is your appointment start time; teachers are welcome to shop as long as they like. C2C encourages teachers to bring their own reusable bag to shop at the store.
We are closely following state and local safety regulations. All shoppers are required to wear masks and practice social distancing. We look forward to seeing you!

Visit us
C2C is physically located at 901 E. 11th Street, Duluth. It is the former Grant Community Recreation Center.
We are located on E. 11th St. between Peace Church and Myers-Wilkins Elementary School. Free parking is available on E. 11th St. directly in front of the building or in front of the adjacent playground.
Currently there is one step up into the store on our front porch, so technically we are not handicapped-accessible. This is important to us and we’re in the process of having a ramp constructed.
